After that we also expanded our product portfolio to building materials and biomass for energy. Through these various sectors, we not only provide integrated solutions for housing, but also provide green energy with biomass as an environmentally friendly natural fuel.
Wood and Woodworking
Sumitomo Forestry Indonesia started its wood trading business in 2011. Since then, our trading business has grown rapidly, not only for wood materials like plywood, FJL, LVL, and Particleboard, but also for woodworking products such as Doors, Flooring, and Interior furniture. We are committed to creating a valuable supply chain for end-user markets, such as housing and furniture companies.
Building Materials
Sumitomo Forestry Indonesia continues to expand by developing new businesses in distributing building material product The company’s products in this sector are includes Gypsum, Sanitary, Metal Roofing, Homogenous Tile, Marble, and Granite. In 2025, we will also introduce a new building material product from Japan: Decorative Fiber Cement under the NICHIHA brand. They are the no.1 company in this category in Japan, and we believe its potential in the Indonesian market is also enormous.
Biomass Fuel
In line with Sumitomo Forestry Corporate’s vision to make our planet safer and more secure for future generations, we are expanding our business by trading biomass fuel : Wood pellets, Wood chips, PKS (Palm Kernell Shell), and Rice Husk pellets as an alternative to fossil fuels that are more environmentally friendly.
